Aug. 15, 2025—Representatives from Clay’s Restaurant visited the staff at Wilson Elementary School on Aug. 12 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Eneida Dobao, Clay’s operations manager, shared that formally adopting Wilson was a way to give back to the Clay’s community.

“We are truly honored to adopt Wilson as part of our Clay’s family,” Dobao said. “Being just minutes away, we see this as a wonderful opportunity to connect with our neighbors, support the amazing staff and encourage the students in every way we can. My team and I are eager to roll up our sleeves, volunteer and build a lasting relationship that’s rooted in giving back. Walking into the school and seeing the smiles and excitement reminded me exactly why we wanted to do this. It’s about being present, making a difference and growing together as a community. I feel so fortunate to be in this position and to have a team who shares the same passion for giving back.”

Many of our staff, students and parents frequent Clay’s and share many fond memories. The continued support, generosity and commitment to our community, students and staff have a lasting impact, and we couldn’t be more grateful to take this next step together. With the Clay’s adoption, we’re looking forward to even more opportunities to enrich our students’ learning experiences, celebrate their successes and build a stronger school community!
