Felder has 14 years of experience in education, all within Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. She also served as the summer school principal at Hairgrove Elementary School in 2015.
Felder earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and her Master of Science in Human Science from Prairie View A&M University. She received her Educational Leadership certificate from the Region 4 Educational Service Center. Felder is a member of the current Rice University Education Entrepreneurship Program (REEP) class, with an expected graduation date of May 2016.
“I feel extremely blessed and honored to be named the principal of Wilson Elementary,” Felder said. “Wilson is an amazing school with rich traditions and an expectation of excellence. I look forward to building strong relationships with the students, staff and community to continue our path of greatness for the 21st-century learner. I am humbled and proud to become a Wilson Wrangler.”
